The Phantom of the OBT, Off Broadway Theatre, Theater, Salt Lake City, Utah, Comedy, Musical, Parody, The Off Broadway Theatre presents A parody of the musical Phantom of the Opera set in SLC at the OBT February 11, 2011 – March 19th.

Strange deaths happen here to those who don’t follow the bidding of the Phantom. Watch as love blossoms between a returned missionary and his long-lost love.

The Marvelous Wonderettes

Meet the Wonderettes, a doo-wop group with hopes and dreams as big as their crinoline skirts and voices to match, while they perform at their 1958 high school prom!

A musical trip down memory lane where we are treated to classic songs such as “Lollipop,” “Mr. Sandman,” “Leader of the Pack,” “Respect,” and many more.

Flying cows, killer rabbits, taunting Frenchmen and show-stopping musical numbers are just a few of the reasons audiences everywhere are eating up “Spamalot.”

They have entertained for local, regional and national conventions throughout the west and have been hired for hundreds of city concerts, holiday parties and other smaller venues. They have been featured on TNN with Roy Rogers, Dale Evans and Randy Travis, as well as live performances on the Discovery Channel and the Travel Network.

The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged), Sandy City Hall Chamber Theater, Theatre, Play, Sandy, Utah, Salt Lake CountySandy City Arts Guild presents “Shakespeare Abridged” February 18, 2011 – 28th at the Sandy City Hall Chamber Theater.

A hilarious, fast-paced, Monty Python-type romp through Shakespeare’s plays. Three male actors take audiences through 37 plays, which are condensed down to a 90-minute free-for-all, making mincemeat of the Bard. Improvisation, audience participation, pop culture, and local references are in store, as well as the fastest, funniest, “Hamlet” you’re likely to see.

Comedian Louis Anderson

Louie Anderson - Comedian, Wiseguys, Ogden, Utah, Stand-up, Funny, Comedy ClubAnderson is currently headlining his own show, “Louie-Larger Than Life,” at the Excalibur Hotel & Casino on the famed Las Vegas Strip and for one night only brings his hilarious antics and stories to the main stage to WISEGUYS OGDEN ! Anderson has appeared in numerous television shows and movies, including starring in his own CBS sitcom “The Louie Show” and comedy specials for HBO and Showtime, and was recently named by Comedy Central as “One of 100 Greatest Stand-Up Comedians of All Time.” Known as a “clean” comedian, Anderson is also a humanitarian and co-founder of the H.E.R.O. organization, whose mission is to empower people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. An all ages show.

Wasatch’s production of Tuna opens Thursday, January 6th and runs through Saturday, January 29th, with 8:00 p.m. evening performances on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and 2:00 p.m. matinee performances on Saturdays and Sundays (no matinees on January 8th and 15th). Performances take place in the Studio Theatre at the Rose Wagner Center for the Performing Arts (138 West 300 South).
