Grammy-winning jazz violinist Regina Carter’s music spans many styles, ranging from funk, Motown and R&B, to classical to Cuban to East Indian. A dynamic, personable performer, Carter thrills audiences with her unique jazz sounds.
Regina Carter (born August 6, 1966, Detroit, Michigan) is an American jazz violinist. Carter began as a classical violinist at the age of four, studying the Suzuki Method until she was nine. She is the cousin of famous jazz saxophonist James Carter.
