The Raspberry Days Festival is an incredible event held to celebrate the harvest of the world-famous Bear Lake Raspberries. The festival is a fun-filled 3 days with the Little Miss Berry Pageant, the craft fair with continuous entertainment, the Parade on the Boulevard, the Rodeo, and 5K run in Laketown, the Pancake Breakfast at the Garden City Park, and ending with the fireworks on the Beach.

Sandy’s Glow Festival

Concert, Hot Air Balloon Glow, 5K Race, Balloon Festival, Crafts, and Free Helium Balloons

Part of Sandy’s annual hot air balloon festival. Enjoy early morning launches, plus crafts and balloons on Saturday morning during the launch.

Saturday evening, there will be a concert, a hot air balloon glow, and the Annual Balloon Fest 5K race. Work hands-on with the pilots as they prep the balloons for launch! They always need some extra helpers each morning, show up early and get hands-on experience. Sandy Parks and Recreation will have a tent for Balloon Fun Saturday morning only: crafts and free helium balloons!

SpeedWeek at Bonneville Salt Flats

The Southern California Timing Association and Bonneville Nationals Inc. organize SpeedWeek, the largest meet of the year, which attracts several hundred drivers who compete to set the highest speed in various categories.

Bonneville Speedway

Bonneville Speedway is an area of the Bonneville Salt Flats near Wendover, Utah, that is marked out for motorsports. It is particularly noted as the venue for numerous land speed records. The salt flats were first used for motorsports in 1912 but didn’t become truly popular until the 1930s when Ab Jenkins and Sir Malcolm Campbell competed to set land speed records.

In October, the Southern California Timing Association puts on World Finals, a scaled-down version of SpeedWeek.

Motorcycle Racing Bonneville Salt Flats

The BUB Motorcycle Speed Trials continue to be solely dedicated to motorcycles. This event offers world and national record-breaking opportunities. Top contenders in many classes, including streamliners, biding for the absolute world record, will be there. Everyone can have a shot at the course, you can ‘Run Watcha Brung’ or battle it out for records, cash, or glory!
