Climb aboard for breathtaking scenery and a time to unwind during this relaxing, three-hour ride. Capture stunning views of Mt. Timpanogos and the dramatic landscape of the glacier-carved Provo Canyon.
The Provo Canyon Limited departs from The Heber Valley Railroad Station, follows the shores of Deer Creek Reservoir then travels along the banks of the renowned Provo River to Vivian Park. You will have a layover of approximately 20 minutes at the Park, where the little passengers can play at the playground, and the grown-ups can enjoy the riverside views. The return trip to the Heber Depot is just over an hour aboard the train.
The Ogden Nature Center will offer free admission and naturalist-guided activities on Saturdays throughout the summer. Free hands-on crafts, nature walks and activities provided.
Located in the heart of Ogden, you’ll find a 152-acre nature preserve and education center open to the public year-round. Visitors enjoy 1.5 miles of walking trails, picnic areas, tree houses, bird blinds and an exhibit of live birds of prey. The preserve is a hot spot for birding. Two of Utah’s greenest buildings are on site to teach about sustainable structures. A unique gift shop is located in the Visitor Center.
The Ogden Nature Center offers a wide variety of classes & workshops for all ages including art, photography, birding, wildlife in Utah, outdoor recreation, conservation, sustainability, summer camps and more.
Wheeler Historic Farm is open every day during daylight hours to walk the grounds and visit the animals as a public park and part of the Salt Lake County Parks and Recreation department.
There is NO ADMISSION FEE to enter the grounds. No fees charged for activities such as wagon rides, milking the cow and special events.
Wheeler Historic Farm is a working farm and the animals serve an agricultural purpose. They have cows, horses, chickens, pigs, sheep, turkeys, goats and rabbits. They are not trained, or domesticated but may be petted with caution.

The fastest athletes from six area chariot clubs are harnessed in teams of two and pull a chariot for 440 yards competing head to head against other teams. This is a fun filled family sport that boast a unique experience.
