Bluff provides some of the most beautiful, unencumbered red rock flying in the Southwest. The big, colorful balloons are flown by a big, colorful cast of characters with hearts as large as their flying orbs.

Part of Sandy’s annual hot air balloon festival. Enjoy early morning launches, plus crafts and balloons on Saturday morning during the launch.
Saturday evening there will be a concert, hot air balloon glow, and Annual Balloon Fest 5K race. Work hands-on with the pilots as they prep the balloons for launch! They always need some extra helpers each morning, show up early and get hands-on experience. Sandy Parks and Recreation will have a tent for Balloon Fun Saturday morning only: crafts and free helium balloons!

The Festival offers affordable fun for the whole family and will feature balloon launches, Arts and Crafts booths, continuous live entertainment featuring a diverse selection of music, a mountain man rendezvous, kids games, climbing wall and Plein Air art competition and silent auction. Each evening at the Festival Field there will be a live concert with BBQ dinner offered for purchase. The popular Balloon Glow will take place Saturday evening, August 15 at dusk, approximately 8:45 p.m.
