The Capitol Theatre is one of Salt Lake County’s most beloved buildings. A landmark in downtown Salt Lake since 1913, a newspaper reporter at the time described the building as “rich and restful, without vulgar or gaudy display.” Vaudevillians, silent movies, and “talkies,” were the mainstay in the theatre for years.

The choir is a prize-winner in international competition and has long been regarded by choral professionals as one of the finest ensembles of its kind in America. It emphasizes correct vocal development, artistic sensitivity and the use of the world’s outstanding vocal literature (both classical and multi-cultural). Its performances are in the area’s premier concert settings, and it can also be heard on local and national classical radio broadcasts.
