Mayfield first performed with her family bluegrass band One Way Rider at the age of 8. They began touring as a family band, boarding a 1956 tour bus (once belonging to Bill Monroe, Kitty Wells, and Ernest Tubb) and headed south from Ohio to Tennessee. At age 11, Jessica began playing guitar and writing songs. She asked her brother David to show her a few chords, and then she started using those chords to write her own songs.
Jessica got her first break at the Europe Gyro in Kent, Ohio playing for tips and free pizza every Monday. The place is known for its rough and unforgiving crowd and the experience toughened her act up considerably. For this residency, she had a fresh batch of songs she had just written after a breakup with her first boyfriend. It was then that she realized she had somewhere to channel her sadness: into her music.

Cascada is an award-winning German eurodance group. They are most famous for their hit singles “Everytime We Touch” which won them a World Music Award in 2007 as well as becoming the group’s first number one single, “What Hurts the Most” which stormed the charts in 2008, and “Evacuate the Dancefloor” which recently became a UK number one. So far the group has sold an estimated 13 million copies of their three albums worldwide. Cascada consists of English-German singer Natalie Horler, and Record producers DJ Manian and Yanou.
Natalie Horler was born on September 23, 1981. As the front line singer, she is often presented as Cascada, as opposed to the entire band. When she was just 26, she worked for a number of various DJs. She provided vocals for dance act 2 Vibez with their song “Sometimes”, which was released on October 8, 2004. Eventually, she met Yann Peifer and Manuel Reuter . Natalie was born in Bonn, Germany. Horler’s parents are English, thus she speaks fluent English with an English accent and states that she has enjoyed a ‘very English upbringing’.
The Psychedelic Furs came together in England’s emerging punk scene in 1977, where they were initially called “RKO,” then “Radio.” They then vacillated between calling themselves “The Europeans” and “The Psychedelic Furs,” playing gigs under both names before permanently settling on the latter.
