Established in 1990 by Ruth and Nathan Hale, the Hale Center Theater Orem has stood as a pillar of the performing arts in Utah Valley ever since. It is also the main pillar of the Hale Center Foundation for the Arts and Education. Voted “Best Live Theater of Utah Valley,” HCTO continues to put on over 300 performances of family-friendly comedies and musicals each year.

Audience participation needed! Join our own Lucinda the Witch and others as we choose a Queen Witch and her Witchy Attendants at the Second Annual So You Think You’re a Witch contest. Leave your broomsticks at the door and let your enthusiasm, along with our enchanted panel of judges, determine the royalty. Only $5 per person. Tickets can be purchased at the door beginning at 5 pm. The show begins at 7 pm. Arrive early for best seating. The witches will have you in stitches at this fright night out!
Celebrate the Deathly Hallows Part I Premier by stepping in to the wizarding world at the Museum of Ancient Life at Thanksgiving Point. Partake in a scavenger hunt for the hidden horcruxes, dress the part and enter the costume contest or try your hand at Harry Potter Trivia. Wizard Woodruff will be on hand with his owls to delight the crowd. Shop in Diaganon Alley for Potter inspired paraphernalia. The Amber Room will be transformed with witchcraft and wizardry you will enjoy your chance to win door prizes, hands on activities and Potter inspired snacks. Party goers will be sorted in to their house and get to make their own wand. .
