Gov’t Mule is a band that takes no prisoners during their shows with an all-out jam and rock style. The band features members of the Allman Brothers and has continued on even after the death of bassist Allen Woody.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Yeah Yeah Yeahs are a New York City-based indie rock band. The band consists of lead singer Karen O, drummer Brian Chase, and guitarist Nick Zinner. In 2000 they formed a trio, and were later joined by second guitarist Imaad Wasif in 2006 for touring purposes. According to an interview that aired during the ABC network’s Live from Central Park SummerStage series, the band’s name was taken from modern New York City vernacular. The band has recorded three studio albums; the first, Fever to Tell, was released in 2003. The second, Show Your Bones, was released in 2006 and was named the second best album of the year by NME. Their third studio album, It’s Blitz!, was released on March 31, 2009 in the USA and on April 6, 2009 in the rest of the world.

BT
Brian Wayne Transeau (born October 4, 1971) a music producer, composer, audio technician, singer and songwriter better known by his stage name, BT. He is an artist in the electronic genre. Has produced and written for artists such as Peter Gabriel, ‘N Sync, Sting, Blake Lewis, Tori Amos and Tiesto. As a film composer he has worked on films such as The Fast and the Furious and Monster.
BT is known for using a technique he calls the stutter edit. This technique consists of taking a small fragments of sound and then repeating it rhythmically (Glitching and Beat slicing). BT was entered into the Guinness Book of World Records for his song Somnambulist. This song was recognized as using the largest number of vocal edits in a song (6,178 edits).

Ballet West Academy Auditions
Children across Utah are invited to audition for the Ballet West Academy’s Fall Semester. Ages 8 to 10 audition at 4 p.m.; ages 11 to 13 audition at 5 p.m.; ages 14+ audition at 6 p.m. No audition necessary for children ages 2 to 7.

Concerts in the Park
Listen to beautiful music in beautiful surroundings. Make it a point to attend the free concerts in the Brigham Young Historic Park on summer evenings. June and July concerts begin at 8:00 P.M. August concerts begin at 7:30 P.M. (visit the Upcoming Events tab at link below for the complete summer schedule). You can also enjoy informative garden talks throughout the summer.
The park is located at the southeast corner of State Street and North Temple (Second Avenue). Seating is available, but visitors can also bring blankets or their own lawn chairs.
