Rock n’ Ribs

$5 Entry Fee (Kids 6 and under free)

Join us for the best BBQ in the West at Rock N’ Ribs. Competitors from all over the nation come to the Gallivan Center in August to compete in this KCBS sanctioned event. The winner gets a coveted invitation to the BBQ Big Time – The Jack Daniels World Championship Invitational and the American Royal Barbeque (the biggest BBQ contests in the world!).

Learn how the champs cook low and slow at our BBQ demonstrations, have your kids have fun on the jump toys, take a picture with Bobby-Q (our offical mascot), or take a picture at our pig pen with our giant pig’natas. Taste some of the local BBQ vendors style with a $3 sample plate while listening to some of the best local artists in Utah.

Snowbird Tent Revival

The Snowbird Renaissance Center is excited to present this first ever HISTORIC music festival, focused on the roots of gospel music which integrates black and white cultural expressions of the music that laid the foundation for all American music.

Featuring: Blind Boys of Alabama, Mavis Staples, Mike Farris & the Roseland Rhythm Revue featuring the McCrary Sisters, JJ Grey and Mofro, The Legendary Soul Stirrers, The Sacred Shakers, Cory Mon & the Starlight Gospel, and the The Calvary Baptist Choir.

In addtion there will be free workshops, a Sunday Hat Contest and lots more fun!

Utah Zombie Walk

A zombie walk is an organized public gathering of people who dress up in zombie costumes. Usually taking place in an urban center, the participants make their way around the city streets and through shopping malls in a somewhat orderly fashion often limping their way towards a public space.

Everyone in Salt Lake Dresses as a Zombie and walks from meeting point to destination in Salt Lake… This ALL AGES event is FREE!!! Just show up as a zombie… the point is to fake a Zombie Attack on the city. Frontier Bank Community Concert Series

The Frontier Bank Community Concert Series presented by Mountain Town Music welcomes musicians weekly on Wednesdays. The concert is free and will last from 6 to 8 p.m. Picnics and dancing are encouraged, but animals are not permitted. Deer Valley’s food and beverage concession stand will be open during the concert and Gourmet Picnic Baskets are available for purchase.
