The Music and the Spoken Word broadcast will feature the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Visitors are welcome to come and hear the inspiring music in the historic Tabernacle located on Temple Square. The choir’s weekly radio program, Music and the Spoken Word, first aired on 15 July 1929 and has since become the world’s longest-running network broadcast.

In Utah, there are some 70 active players who have national ratings, as well as two table tennis clubs sanctioned by the U.S.A.T.T. (U.S.A. Table Tennis Organization) and several tournaments each year.
Salt Lake Seniors Table Tennis Club (for 60 and over) plays Wednesday afternoons beginning at 1:30 p.m. at the Mt. Olympus Senior Center at 1635 E. Murray-Holladay Road.
Utah Valley Table Tennis Club meets at the Eldred Senior Center, 270 West 500 North in Provo, Utah. They have eleven tables and play from 5:30-9:50 pm every Thursday. Ogden City Table Tennis Club has five tables and meets Mondays at the Riverdale Community Center (801-621-6084) from 6-8:45 p.m. (Summers 6-8 p.m.) at 4360 S. Parker Dr., Riverdale. The club also meets at the Marshall White Community Center at 28th Street & Lincoln Ave., Ogden, (801-629-8346) on Wednesdays from 6:00-8:00 pm, and Fridays from 1:00-3:00 pm. An associated activity is the Riverdale Community Center Tournament held on the second Wed 6-8 p.m. on even months (Feb, Apr, Jun, Aug, Oct, Dec), sponsored by the Community Center, not the Club.
