Ogden Nature Center
Located in the heart of Ogden, the 152-acre nature preserve and education center are open to the public year-round. Visitors enjoy 1.5 miles of walking trails, picnic areas, tree houses, bird blinds, and an exhibit of live birds of prey. The preserve is a hot spot for birding. Two of Utah’s greenest buildings are on site to teach about sustainable structures. A unique gift shop is located in the Visitor Center.
The Ogden Nature Center offers a wide variety of classes & workshops for all ages, including art, photography, birding, wildlife in Utah, outdoor recreation, conservation, sustainability, summer camps, and more.

The Ice Sheet
The Ice Sheet was built in 1994 as an Olympics venue for the 2002 Winter Games. Known as one of the top curling venues in the world. The Ice Sheet offers a wide variety of recreation and sports opportunities, such as Ice Hockey, Figure Skating, Curling, and public Ice Skating.

Peery’s Egyptian Theater
Peery’s Egyptian Theater is a historical 1920s movie palace fully restored to its former glory and renovated to service live performance and cinema. As a component of the Ogden Eccles Conference Center, the Egyptian is a cornerstone of the revitalization of downtown Ogden and the greater Weber County areas and is committed to supporting community events that utilize the Egyptian as a venue for quality professional performing arts events. Peery’s Egyptian Theater serves both as a rental facility for national and community events and as an arts presenter enriching local residents’ entertainment experiences.

Mount Ogden Park
Mount Ogden Park is reservable and offers lots of green shady spots for picnics and plenty of grassy area for field games. It offers a large picnic shelter with barbecue grill in addition to individual tables. Soccer fields with goal posts and off street parking is available. This park has a newer wood chip filled playground and is a good place for group picnics. Sleigh riding, snow boarding, tubing and cross country skiing are popular on the neighboring golf course. Restroom facilities and drinking water are also available. With the Mt. Ogden Golf Course right next door, make this your picnic stop after the company scramble. Park includes tennis courts and a small gazebo.
