Murray 5K Race & 1K Kids Race

Sanctioned UST&F event that is part of the LDR Road Race circuit. This is one of the most popular races in the State of Utah. Open to all ages both male and female.

The race features good and a great prize drawing. T-shirts are given to each participant. Cash awards are given to the top three finishers in both male and female categories. As well as cash awards to the top three in master divisions for males and females. Awards are given to the top three finishers in each age group both male and female. The kid’s race is a 1/2 mile race with all kids getting an award.

Discover miles of scenic trails that allow you to explore the resort and connect with Park City’s massive trail network. Trailheads are located at the base area and mid-mountain near Red Pine Lodge.

High Meadow chair lifts from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, providing access to the family-friendly Red Pine Loop. There is no additional charge for riding this lift, and bike racks will be available.

People’s Market‘s mission is to promote urban agriculture, community pride, diversity, and entrepreneurship on the west side of Salt Lake City.

There are educational and community opportunities through kids’ art activities, cooking demonstrations, and information on health and nutrition resources. Market vendors accept cash, debit, credit, and EBT (Horizon Cards).

People’s Market Produce Program encourages gardeners to bring their harvest to market for just $5. They set up the tables, you share in the bounty!

Timpanogos Cave Tours

Timpanogos Cave National Monument sits high in the Wasatch Mountains. The cave system consists of three spectacularly decorated caverns. Helictites and anthodites are just a few of the many dazzling formations to be found in the many chambers. As visitors climb to the cave entrance, on a hike gaining over 1,000 ft in elevation, they are offered incredible views of American Fork Canyon.

Cave tour fees are waived during mid-August weekend as part of the National Park Service Fee-Free Weekends.

The Ogden Nature Center‘s annual 5K Trail Run and Pancake Breakfast are slated for the first Saturday in May annually.

This isn’t your average 5K– you’ll also get to meet live birds, enjoy a yummy pancake breakfast, score a fun goodie bundle & a cool, technical t-shirt as well as a kids dash & fun activities for the littles!
